High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound
This thermal transfer compound is recommended for applications using heat sinks. Apply compound to the outside diameter of the motor and to the inside diameter of the heat sink prior to assembly. The compound is non setting. After application, we recommend cleaning a portion of the area where the heat sink contacts the motor and applying a few dabs of high temperature epoxy to prevent the heat sink from rotating or sliding.
The 3.5g tube of thermal transfer compound contains enough for two applications on a 28mm motor.
Made With 99.9% Pure Silver:
Arctic Silver 5 uses three unique shapes and sizes of pure silver particles to maximize particle-to-particle contact area and thermal transfer.
High-Density:
Arctic Silver 5 contains over 88% thermally conductive filler by weight. In addition to micronized silver, Arctic Silver 5 also contains
sub-micron zinc oxide, aluminum oxide and boron nitride particles. These thermally-enhanced ceramic particles improve the compound's performance and long-term stability.
Not Electrically Conductive:
Arctic Silver 5 was formulated to conduct heat, not electricity.
